She wrote the total of novels and short stories that explored various aspects of magic and mysticism, including A Demon Lover, A Winged Bull, A Goat-Foot God, & A Secrets of Dr. Taverner. Later Magical Career

Around 1928 Fortune founded "The Community of the Inner Light" , which was a forerunner of "The Fraternity of the Inner Light", which was successively a forerunner of "The Society of the Inner Light", an outer court of the Golden Dawn. This society was to become a focus of her act for the rest of her life. Her magnum opus, A Mystical Qabalah was 1st published withinside England in 1935, good eleven years prior to her prematurely demise of Leukaemia.
